Matt

Founder, mentor and entrepreneur.

Matt founded Work in Fintech and is also CEO/co-founder of ipushpull, an enterprise SaaS platform for capital markets, and co-founder of RANsquawk (now known as newsquawk) the world's leading real-time analysis and news audio service for traders. Before start-up life Matt was a trader at Refco and a Risk Analyst at RBC. Matt studied at Imperial College and City University.

Ying

Co-founder of Work in Fintech.

Fintech Entrepreneur, former Board Member of Symphony and Refinitiv and several prominent Fintechs, and Former Head of Digital Products at Barclays Investment Bank. Ying has built businesses and products which attract hundreds of millions of funding and now runs Liyt Coaching, which focuses on mentoring individuals to accelerate their growth and development. Ying studied at Yale University and Peking University.

Sean

Head of Strategic Partnerships.

Sean is a business executive with expertise in improving profit margins, executing growth and sales strategies for early-stage start-ups and established SMEs. Sean is also the founder of the Youth Tech - Europe's first fully inclusive initiative that aims to ignite passion for all things technology, creativity and innovation for children 5 to 18 years old. Sean studied at Birmingham City University and Western Illinois University.

Benyamin

Founder member of Work in Fintech, Chief Evangelist.

Benyamin is a teen programmer from London, UK. He began learning to code at the age of five. During the 2021 school summer holidays he got pulled into the emerging NFT space and decided to code his own collection (Weird Whales). The project was an instant hit and went viral featuring in the international press: The New York Times, BBC, Time, Forbes, CNBC, Business Insider. Benyamin has worked on NFT collections that have traded more than $10M.

Benyamin was invited to speak about NFTs at Pembroke College, Oxford University. He is the youngest person to lecture at the college, founded 1624.

Founder member of Work in Fintech.

Jag is a BSc Physics student at the University of Leicester and founder of ‘The Fiscal Student’ blog.

Josh

Founder member of Work in Fintech.

Josh is an undergraduate, studying Spanish at Pembroke College, Oxford. He is particularly interested in blockchain technology and decentralisation, and has backed several early-stage crypto companies capitalising on blockchain’s commercial use cases for the world of collectibles (NFTs), digital asset exchanges, gaming and on-demand media platforms.

Penny is an undergraduate at Macaulay Baruch College studying Finance. She is interested in gaining more experience in the finance industry as well as data science.

Daniel

Founder member of Work in Fintech.

Daniel is a recent MSc Finance grad from Lancaster University. He is interested in expanding his knowledge of the financial industry. With technology playing a big role within the financial industry, Work in Fintech is a perfect place for him to learn.

Amrit is a MSc Computer Science student at the University of Birmingham. Amrit has interned at Credit Suisse and had a placement year at the Bank of England.

Meng is an undergraduate at Baruch College studying marketing management. She is interested in advertising, strategy, and the fintech space.

Helene

Founder member of Work in Fintech.

Helene is a 2020 MSc graduate from the University of Bath with a second Master's Degree. Before her studies, she worked for two years at Deloitte Consulting as a Marketing Consultant at Deloitte.

Ben is a MSc Finance student at CASS Business School and is co-president of the CASS Trading Society.
